Mechanical GS

Fishes standard internal fishing necks

Designed to fish standard internal fishing necks with a down shear and release mechanism. Can be used running or pulling X and XN locks, G-Stops, or retrieving disconnects. With a GU adapter it can be made over to a jar-up tool.

Mechanical Pulling Tool

"J" pulling tools — Jar Up / Jar Down

Designed to catch external fishing necks with a Jar Up (JU) or Jar Down (JD) shear and release. The JU can be modified to a JD tool by changing the top sub, core nut and retainer screw. For most coiled tubing and jointed-pipe fishing applications, the JD tool is utilized — the Camco-style dog profile is 90°, while Otis-style tools and compatible equipment use a 20° undercut.

Hydraulic Release Pulling Tool

For standard wireline profiles

Designed for retrieving standard wireline profiles. For heavy jarring operations, the collet system provides maximum contact with the fishing neck. Latches by applying weight down, and releases through a combination of weight and increased differential pressure. Pumping fluid through the tool washes debris or fill from the top of the fish before latching.

Hydraulic Release Overshot

Catches a fish with an interchangeable bowl/slips

Designed to catch a fish with a given diameter. An interchangeable bowl and slips allow the tool to be dressed for a variety of diameters. Engages by applying set-down weight and releases via a combination of set-down weight and differential pressure — ideal for horizontal fishing applications where set-down weight can't shear pins as with mechanical overshots.

Hydraulic Release GS

Retrieves tools with internal profiles

Designed to retrieve tools with internal profiles. Latches by set-down weight; once latched, releases only via a combination of weight and pressure increase across the tool. A collet system transfers load to the central mandrel to allow jarring operations.

Hydraulic Release Spear

Retrieves damaged internal profiles

Designed to retrieve damaged internal profiles, or to fish a given internal diameter. Slips engage with down weight; the tool releases via a combination of weight and increased pressure.

Continuous Tubing Overshot

Three-piece hardened slip assembly

Consists of a body containing a three-piece hardened slip assembly in a bowl, run on either coiled tubing or jointed pipe. When run with jointed pipe, the overshot's larger throughbore lets it swallow coiled tubing. Can be run with a high-pressure packoff assembly for a seal between the work string and the fish, restoring circulation capability through the fish.

HE Style "A" Overshot

Replaces Bowen Series 10

Available in sizes engaging up to 2" OD inside 2 7/8" tubing and up to 1 5/8" OD inside 2 3/8" tubing. A top sub, bowl, spiral grapple and control guide make up this overshot; a basket grapple control and plain guide are used instead when a basket grapple is fitted.

HE Style "B" Overshot

Replaces Bowen Series 20 — short catch

The HE Style "B" Short Catch Overshot is used when the top of the fish is too short to engage with a Style "A" overshot. With the grapple positioned at the lower end, the overshot engages a fish with a short top end.

HE Style "J" Overshot

Replaces Bowen Series 70 — short catch

Specifically designed for use when the top of the fish is too short to engage with a Style "A" overshot. An assembly of top sub, bowl, basket grapple and basket grapple control is made up to catch a specific outside diameter.

HE Style "G" Overshot

Replaces Bowen Series 150

A top sub, bowl, spiral grapple, spiral grapple control and packing make up this overshot. A mill control packer is used to fit a basket grapple.

HE Releasing Spear

Replaces Bowen ITCO Spear

A superior fishing spear designed to assure positive engagement with the fish. Ruggedly built to withstand severe jarring and pulling strains, engaging the fish over a large area to minimize damage or distortion. The simple design eliminates any small parts that could become lost or damaged in the hole.
