Push-Pull Anchoring Tool

A pressure-activated device that provides a controlled push or pull stroke once the anchoring feature is activated — particularly useful for retrieving flow control equipment such as safety valves, plugs and sliding sleeves where conventional methods are impractical or unsuccessful.

Functions via a series of hydraulic pistons: pressure first actuates the anchoring system, then generates the force to move the inoperable equipment. A specially designed safety feature facilitates bleed-off of stored pressure downhole.
